Your role with us
In Inside Sales, you serve as the interface between Sales, customers, and internal departments:

  • You manage quotes and orders from inquiry through to invoicing
  • You ensure structured workflows and clean commercial processes
  • You keep everything on track and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
  • You actively support the Sales team in their day-to-day operations

Typical tasks in this role
To give you a better idea, your daily work will include the following activities:

  • Preparing, reviewing, and tracking quotes
  • Handling the administrative processing of orders
  • Maintaining customer, pricing, and contract data in CRM/ERP systems
  • Coordinating with sales, technical, and project teams
  • Assisting with invoicing and billing

Your Profile

Your role with us

In Sales, you will serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers and oversee the entire sales process—from structured needs assessment and contract signing to long-term support and the ongoing development of customer relationships.

You will take responsibility for your customers, systematically expand existing business relationships, and work with our technical departments to develop tailored solutions.

In doing so, you will work closely with our Security Consulting and Security Operations departments to ensure that customer requirements are documented in a structured manner and implemented in a cost-effective way.

Typical responsibilities in this role
Your daily tasks will include, among other things:

  • Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships
  • Acquiring new customers in the B2B environment
  • Conducting initial consultations and structured needs analyses
  • Preparing and calculating quotes in coordination with the specialist departments
  • Supporting tenders and bidding processes
  • Contract negotiations within defined parameters
  • Maintaining customer and project data in the CRM system
  • Attending selected client meetings or industry events

Your profile

  • Completed business training (e.g., Industrial Clerk, Wholesale and Foreign Trade Management Clerk, IT Systems Clerk) or a comparable sales-related qualification
  • Alternatively, a degree in business administration with a focus on sales, marketing, or business management
  • Several years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in the IT, technology, or service sectors
  • Experience dealing with products or services that require explanation
  • Experience in public procurement or with tenders is a plus
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems
  • A structured, independent, and goal-oriented approach to work
  • Confident negotiation skills and a professional demeanor
  • Very good German language skills as well as good English language skills for day-to-day work
  • Willingness to travel as needed
