R&D COLLABORATIONS

Research and development: Innovation through collaboration

The QGroup stands for innovative security solutions that result from close collaboration with research institutions and industry partners. We are actively involved in leading research initiatives and publicly funded projects aimed at addressing cyber security challenges.

Our approach is to bring practical expertise to research while learning from the latest scientific findings. This results in advanced concepts that are tested and implemented in real-life applications. In cooperation with authorities and industry, we develop solutions that make the digital space more secure.

Through projects in various key areas, such as critical infrastructure security and advanced IT defense, we actively promote resilience to new and evolving threats. Our participation in these projects underlines our commitment to being at the forefront of technological development.

Smart Grid Lab

Test scenarios for intelligent power grids (smart grid)

The Smart Grid LAB Hessen is being set up under the leadership of Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences with funding from the European Union and the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport and Housing. Thanks to the broad range of partners involved in this project, various international experiences are also being incorporated alongside the technical expertise.

CyberStress

Development of a comprehensive stress test methodology and scenarios for the energy sector

The »CyberStress« project focuses on the development of a comprehensive stress test methodology for energy systems. The aim is for the regulatory authority to find a good balance between the security progress achieved and the potentially high costs or possible restrictions on use due to additional security measures.
